A newspaper has reported about a beggar who is preparing to provide assistance to Sri Lanka.
This beggar is an Indian.
It is further reported that the beggar named Poolpandi is from Tuticorin in the state of Tamil Nadu in India.
He has so far collected 20,000 Indian rupees, which is about 83,200 Sri Lankan rupees.
He has previously donated about 90,000 Indian rupees to help people in Corona.
Commenting on this he has stated as follows.
“No one should beg like me. I can beg and help the poor. I’m a man who does not like money. That’s why I help people as much as I can. ”
