It has been proposed to jointly issue a stamp between Sri Lanka and India based on the theme of democracy for India’s 75th independence celebration on 15th August 2022.
This stamp is scheduled to be issued under the initiative of the postal departments of the two countries.
This stamp is to be printed to reflect the Parliaments of Sri Lanka and India.
Meanwhile, a memorandum of understanding will also be signed between the postal departments of the two countries.
It is reported that the proposal brought by the Minister of Mass Media for this program was approved by the Cabinet.
