The Ministry of Education has decided not to consider 80% attendance for the students who are going to appear for the A Level Examination in December 2022.
The ministry said that instructions have been given to the principals.
It has also been decided to further implement the interest-free student loan scheme introduced for A-level students.
The interest-free student loan scheme was implemented from the year 2017 to pursue a government-recognised degree course in a non-government institution of higher education for students who passed A-level.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has also taken steps to extend the deadline for applications for National Colleges of Education based on the 2019/2020 GCE A Level results to 19.08.2022.
