President Ranil Wickramasinghe said that he accepts the peaceful struggle and will not allow terrorism and violence.
The President stated this while speaking in Parliament today (03).
The President emphasized that he will always stand for the peaceful fighters and will work to protect them and will establish a separate bureau for that purpose.
The President said that a committee headed by a retired judge would be appointed for this purpose and said that those who acted unlawfully and violently would be dealt with according to the law.
The President emphasized that he will make sure that this process does not have any political influence.
