The Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekara says that a discussion was held at the Ministry of Transport to identify the requirements of CTB, Private Busses & Taxis.
It was decided to identify the requirements for each category by the Transport Commission & recommend the fuel requirements to the Ministry of Energy.
Further, he said once the requirements are received the ministry will allocate additional quotas on a separate QR code by next week.
Until such time CTB depots will continue to fulfill the requirements of Private busses from the 107 CTB depots & taxis will receive the standard quota this week.
