An emergency situation informed following the identification of coronavirus patients

The Ministry of Health has stated that they have informed the reporting of new coronavirus infected patients in the Minuwangoda area as an emergency situation.

Accordingly, a statement signed by the Director General of Health Services states that action should be taken to control the spread of the coronavirus in the society.

It also states that people should not participate in any large public gatherings, should wear masks when leaving their homes, go out for activities as little as possible outdoors, wash hands frequently, and avoid touching the face.

Meanwhile, the Commissioner General of Official Languages, Prince Senadheera stated that the oral examination for the official language proficiency which was scheduled to commence from the 6th will be postponed indefinitely.
