On the third anniversary of the Easter Sunday attack, Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith addressed a special service. Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith further stated that the non-arrest of Saharan and his group by saying that they should not be taken under the guise of a moving snake is a matter of great concern to the Catholic people.
