Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) Charity Commissioner’s office at Deans Road was temporarily closed as one of the employees was tested positive for COVID-19, CMC Chief Medical Officer Dr, Ruwan Wijayamuni said today.
Dr. Wijayamuni said the employee was sent to hospital while her family members were subjected to PCR tests and sent to a Quarantine Centre.
“The Charity Commissioner had visited the Town Hall for the CMC Finance Committee meeting for which Mayoress Rosy Senanayake had participated. Therefore, we will carry out PCR test on Ms. Senanayake and other members of the Finance Committee tomorrow,” he added.
