The All Ceylon Private Bus Owners Association has complained to the European Union and the United Nations Human Rights Commission regarding the burning of buses in several areas of the island on May 9.
Its chairman, Mr. Gemunu Wijeratne, stated that he had informed in writing that an impartial investigation should be conducted in this regard.
