Counseling services for those who are addicted to drugs through a hotline

The National Dangerous Drugs Control Board states that those who are addicted to drugs can obtain counseling services through the 1927 hotline.

Its Chairman, Specialist Dr. Laknath Welagedara stated that the Coronavirus epidemic in the country has hampered the treatment, rehabilitation and counseling services for those who are addicted to drugs.

Taking this situation into consideration, the Chairman stated that steps have been taken to facilitate the provision of counseling services remotely through the 1927 hotline.
