Fish shop owner in Homagama tests positive for COVID

Steps have been taken to close a fish shop in Homagama from today (23) after it was revealed that the owner of a fish market was infected with coronavirus.

The Medical Officer of Health stated that the family members of the shop owner and a group of employees at the shop were directed to self-quarantine.

The owner of the fish shop had tested positive for a PCR test that he had done privately.
