The MT New Diamond, a fuel tanker that caught fire about 38 nautical miles off the east coast of Sri Lanka yesterday (03) morning, was a ship carrying crude oil from Kuwait to the IOC refinery in India. Says Mr. Gupta.
The Managing Director of Lanka IOC emphasizes that this ship has no connection with his company’s supplies in Sri Lanka.
