The Government has approved to build multi-storey car parks in selected towns including the capital Colombo, and to conduct mix development programs in several areas of the country, Cabinet spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella said.
While Addressing the weekly cabinet briefing at the Information Department, he said several plots of land has already been identified for the programme.
The Government is targeting to reduce road traffic after building these multi-storey car parks.
