Co-Cabinet Spokesman, Minister of Plantation Industries, Ramesh Pathirana stated there is no ban on the import of vehicles required for public transport and the agriculture industry, except for the importation of luxury vehicles.
Minister Pathirana also stated that a committee headed by P.B. Jayasundera meets every Tuesday, where vehicle importers can submit their issues.
These importers can receive solutions on the spot, he added.
