Various reports were published on social media today stating that former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa is in a critical condition and is being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of a private hospital in Colombo.
When we inquired about this from our former Prime Minister’s Media Secretary Rohan Weliwita, he said that there is no truth in such media reports.
He confirmed that the former Prime Minister was in good health and was carrying out his daily duties without any hindrance.
