PCR results of Keselwatta residents to be released

Health authorities say the results of PCR tests conducted on 142 residents of Bandaranayake Mawatha, Keselwatta, Colombo-12 are due to be released today.

Officials noted that 04 persons who were identified as COVID-19 positive patients yesterday, are residents of Bandaranayake Mawatha, Keselwatta.

Accordingly the total number of coronavirus cases identified from the virus hotspot has exceeded 65.

Of the 368 COVID-19 positive patients confirmed in the island, 254 continue to undergo medical treatment.

Sri Lanka has also recorded 07 deaths, whilst another 107 people have recovered from the virus in the country thus far and been discharged from hospital following medical treatment.

As of now coronavirus positive cases have been identified in every province in the country.
