Protests (20) are currently taking place in some parts of the country against the increase in fuel prices. Protests were held in Kegalle, Ambalangoda, Hatton, Chilaw, Elpitiya, Anuradhapura, Minuwangoda, Kesbewa, Bandaragama, Battaramulla, Thoppuwa and Tissamaharama yesterday and today.
