A police officer and a Civil Defense Force officer who were engaged in security activities at the Panadura Court premises have been charged for allegedly violating quarantine regulations.
The lawsuit cites that the suspects have allegedly exhanged the same water bottle on duty.
Following observation, a case is being tried before the Magistrate of Panadura Magistrate Court in accordance with the quarantine regulations, according to Office of Police Media Spokesman.
