The ward of the new magazine prison where former minister Rishad Bathiudeen is being held is under severe corona threat.
The PCR tests of six detainees who were detained along with the former minister were carried out randomly yesterday and it has been confirmed that five of them have contracted covid 19.
Accordingly, it is suspected that most of the people in the area have been threatened by covid.
An inmate detained next to former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen has also contracted the disease.
According to prison sources, the former minister has also faced a serious threat from covid 19.
At present the number of corona cases reported in prisons has risen to 506.
