A Gazette Notification issued imposing a special commodity levy of Rs. 10 per 1KG of imported Maize effective from September 04, 2022 to December 31, 2022
The government has imposed a Rs.10 special commodity levy on a kilogram of imported Maize and Sorghum.
The special commodity levy on imported Maize and Sorghum will be in effect until the 31st of December.
The gazette notification in this regard has been issued by the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies effective 4th of September.
