Sri Lankan Diaspora in Britain ready to help garner investments

The Sri Lankan diaspora in Britain, has decided to organize a series of conferences once every month, respecting the requests made by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

The meetings will aim to garner new investment and business opportunities to Sri Lanka with the participation of high level investors, entrepreneurs, business community and professionals living in European countries.

President Wickremesinghe while in London met representatives of the diaspora living there. This meeting had been organized by the Sri Lankan High Commissioner’s office in Britain.

Engineer Vishwanathan Nimalan, leader of the Mawbima Janatha Party said that according to the President’s request, he is ready to provide new technology and funds to build entrepreneurship from Point Dondra to Point Pedro.
