Special Task Force officials have arrested the boyfriend of a 14-year-old minor girl and another person.
According to a complaint received at the Lunugala police station regarding the kidnapping of a minor girl on August 03, the officers of the Special Task Force conducted a raid yesterday (11) in the Udakiruwa reserve, Udakiruwa area of the Lunugala police domain.
There, a 14-year-old girl who had been hiding for eight days in the Udakiruwa Rakshita area has been taken into custody by two persons between the ages of 18 and 53 living in Lunugala and Beruwala areas.
It is said that the two suspects have been handed over to the Lunugala Police Station for further investigation
