Summons issued to 3 persons including MP Rajitha Senaratne

The Colombo High Court today issued summons to three persons including Parliamentarian Rajitha Senaratne to appear in court on October 29.

That was when the case was taken up today alleging that the government had incurred a loss by leasing the Modara fishing harbor to a private company for a small amount in 2014.

The Bribery Commission filed indictments against three persons including Parliamentarian Rajitha Senaratne in the Colombo High Court on August 20.

In addition to the MP, the summons were issued to former Chairman of the Fisheries Harbor Corporation Upali Liyanage and its former Managing Director Neil Ravindra Munasinghe.
