No long distance services The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) says that a limited number of buses have been deployed at the depot level within 7 hours of the lifting of the curfew. The chairman of the board Kingsley Ranawaka said that there is a high possibility that long distance buses will not run. Kingsley Ranawaka further stated that due to the imposition of the curfew, SLTB employees have left their homes and are largely absent from work today. Therefore, although there is a limited number of buses plying in the provinces, there is no inter-provincial bus service, he added.
