The Sri Lanka Navy says a group of Navy personnel attached to the Welisara Navy camp will be subjected to PCR tests today, to determine if they have contracted COVID-19.
When inquired Navy Media Spokesman Lieutenant Commander Isuru Sooriyabandara said the results of tests conducted yesterday are also due to be released within the day.
With the discovery of 30 coronavirus positive cases from personnel attached to the Welisara Navy camp, the entire premises were declared an isolated zone.
Accordingly the Navy Media Spokesman said no one will be allowed to enter or leave the camp until further notice.
