A 70-year-old shop owner has been remanded for allegedly abusing about 20 school-age boys between the ages of 12 and 13 with ice cream, buns and cash.
A shop owner on Bataduwa Sumanatissa Mawatha in Galle has been remanded.
The investigation was initiated following a complaint received by OIC of the Galle Divisional Women and Children’s Bureau, Chief Inspector Waruni Bogahawatta from a school principal in the area.
