The Assistant Secretary of the Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA), Dr Naveen De Soysa, said that there is a higher risk of Covid-19 being socialised owing to the emergence of Covid-19 clusters from society.
Even though the source of Covid-19 patients so far detected, had been tracked, in several occasions the source was untraceable, he added.
He also said that, what was more important was to strictly follow health precautions instead of tracing the origin of the Brandix cluster.
During discussions held with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Minister of Health Pavithra Wanniarachchi, it had been advised to thoroughly restrain movement in areas which would be isolated in the future, he added.
