Tries to give food parcels to MPs Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena stated in Parliament today (07) that steps will be taken to increase the prices of food in Parliament canteens. The Speaker said that a decision would be taken in the House Committee on the request made by 50 Members of Parliament to provide them with a food parcel at a minimum price to cater to the canteen.
