‘Outsiders have been resettled in MPs’ houses’

It is reported that more than 30 parliamentarians have resettled relatives, friends, former parliamentarians and private security personnel at the Madiwela MP’s official quarters.

According to parliamentary sources, Parliamentarians have recently called on all Members of Parliament not to allow outsiders to occupy their official quarters.

Meanwhile, information has come to light about several ministers and state ministers who have obtained the official quarters of the Madiwela MP while obtaining ministerial quarters.

Ministers who have obtained houses at the Summit Housing Scheme will not be able to obtain Madiwela MP official quarters and only ministers who are homeless at the Summit Housing Complex will be able to obtain Madiwela MP official quarters.

It is reported that the heads of parliament have requested the Ministry of Public Service, Provincial Councils and the Ministry of Local Government to hand over the list of Ministers who have obtained official quarters at the Summit Housing Scheme, but they have not been provided so far, reports say.
